4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the REVLON 3 Barrel Jumbo Hair Waver from its packaging. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.
2. Inspect: Check the appliance and its cord for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
3. Placement: Place the waver on a heat-resistant, flat surface away from water or flammable materials.
4. Plug In: Insert the plug into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Slide the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate.
2. Select Heat Setting: Rotate the temperature dial to your desired heat setting (1-30). Refer to Figure 3 for recommended heat levels based on hair type. Allow the waver a few minutes to heat up.
3. Prepare Hair: Ensure hair is clean, dry, and detangled. For best results, apply a heat protectant spray.
4. Section Hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections, approximately 1-2 inches wide.
5. Waving Technique:
   • Open the waver by squeezing the handle.
   • Place a section of hair between the barrels, starting close to the roots (but not touching the scalp).
   • Close the waver firmly, holding for 3-5 seconds. Adjust holding time based on desired wave intensity and hair type.
   • Release the waver and move down the same section of hair, overlapping the last wave to create a continuous pattern.
   • Repeat until the entire section is waved.
6. Cool Down: Allow waves to cool completely before touching or styling to set the wave.
7. Power Off: Once finished, slide the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the appliance.

6. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the barrels and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
• Storage: When cool, press the barrels together and push the Locking Ring up to secure them for compact storage. Store in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
