- LCD Display: Shows time, alarm status, and PM indicator.
- SNOOZE/LIGHT Button: Activates snooze during alarm, illuminates backlight for 5 seconds.
- HOUR Button: Adjusts hour during time/alarm setting.
- MIN Button: Adjusts minute during time/alarm setting.
- SET Switch (TIME/ALARM/LOCK): Selects mode for setting time or alarm, or locks settings.
- ALARM Switch (HI/LO/OFF): Sets alarm volume to High, Low, or turns it Off.
Setup
Battery Installation
The Equity 31015 operates on two AAA batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two new AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: The clock is designed for battery operation only. There is no option to plug it into a wall outlet.
Operating Instructions
Setting the Time
- Slide the SET switch to the TIME position. The time display will flash.
- Press the HOUR button to adjust the hour. Note the PM indicator for afternoon hours.
- Press the MIN button to adjust the minutes.
- Once the desired time is set, slide the SET switch back to the LOCK position to save the time and prevent accidental changes.
Setting the Alarm
- Slide the SET switch to the ALARM position. The alarm time display will flash.
- Press the HOUR button to adjust the alarm hour. Note the PM indicator.
- Press the MIN button to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Once the desired alarm time is set, slide the SET switch back to the LOCK position.
- To activate the alarm, slide the ALARM switch to either the HI (High volume) or LO (Low volume) position. An alarm icon will appear on the display, indicating the alarm is active.
- To turn off the alarm, slide the ALARM switch to the OFF position. The alarm icon will disappear.
Note: The alarm is capable of up to 95 decibels on the High setting.
Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
Backlight Operation
To activate the blue backlight, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The backlight will illuminate for 5 seconds and then turn off automatically. This is a temporary backlight and does not stay on continuously.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the alarm volume decreases, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
Troubleshooting
