4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Campingaz Bleuet 206 Plus Stove:
- Prepare the Area: Choose a flat, stable, non-combustible surface outdoors, away from any flammable materials and in a well-ventilated area.
- Unfold the Base: Extend the blue plastic base legs to create a stable platform for the stove.
- Insert Gas Cartridge: This stove uses Campingaz C206 pierceable gas cartridges. Align the cartridge with the stove's piercing mechanism. Place the cartridge into the blue base, ensuring it is centered.
- Secure Cartridge: Push the stove unit firmly and quickly onto the gas cartridge until the cartridge is pierced and securely seated. You may hear a hiss of gas for a moment; this is normal as the seal is made. Ensure the cartridge is fully engaged.
- Check for Leaks: After connecting the cartridge, apply soapy water to the connection point. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Disconnect the cartridge immediately and re-attempt connection. If the leak persists, do not use the stove.

- Adjust Flame: Once lit, adjust the flame to your desired intensity by turning the control knob. Turn clockwise to decrease the flame and counter-clockwise to increase it.
- Cooking: Place your pot or pan securely on the pot supports. Ensure the pot is stable before cooking.

- Cool Down: Allow the stove to cool completely before handling or storing.

- Cleaning: After each use, ensure the stove is cool. Wipe down the burner head and pot supports with a damp cloth to remove any food residue or spills. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
