Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the pump with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the pump in water. Ensure all ports and accessories are free from dust and debris.
- Storage: Store the pump and its accessories in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the hose is not kinked during storage.
- Cord Care: Always unplug the power cord by grasping the plug, not the cord itself. Avoid wrapping the cord too tightly around the pump.
Troubleshooting
- Pump Does Not Turn On:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working 120V AC outlet.
- Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' (I) position.
- Verify that the electrical outlet is functional by testing it with another appliance.
- Low Airflow/Ineffective Inflation/Deflation:
- Ensure the hose is securely attached to the correct port (INFLATE for inflation, DEFLATE for deflation).
- Check that the selected valve fitting is appropriate for the inflatable and is securely inserted into the inflatable's valve, creating a tight seal.
- Inspect the hose and pump ports for any obstructions or damage.
- Overheating:
- If the pump feels excessively hot, turn it off and allow it to cool down for at least 15-20 minutes before resuming operation.
- Avoid continuous operation for extended periods. Refer to the product's recommended duty cycle if available.
