Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your D-dock SD Stereo System:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the packing list are present.
  2. Speaker Connection: Connect the speaker wires from the main unit to the corresponding terminals on the speakers. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for optimal sound quality.
  3. Antenna Connection: Connect the supplied FM/AM antennas to their respective jacks on the rear of the main unit. Position them for best reception.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the AC power cord into the AC IN jack on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.
  5. SD Card Insertion: Open the SD card slot cover and insert an SD card (or miniSD card with an adapter) into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.
  6. Initial Power On: Press the POWER button on the unit or remote control to turn on the system. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup.

Operating Instructions

CD Playback

  1. Press the CD button to select the CD function.
  2. Open the CD tray and place one or more CDs (up to 5) onto the trays. Close the tray.
  3. Press the PLAY button to start playback.
  4. Use the SKIP buttons to navigate between tracks and the STOP button to end playback.

SD Card Recording (from CD)

The system allows for one-button recording of up to 5 CDs to an SD card.

  1. Insert an SD card with sufficient free space into the SD card slot.
  2. Load up to 5 CDs into the CD changer.
  3. Press the dedicated ONE-BUTTON SD RECORDING button (refer to your unit's front panel or remote for exact labeling).
  4. The system will automatically begin recording all tracks from the loaded CDs to the SD card.
  5. Recording from MD, radio, or tape to SD card is also possible. Select the desired source and initiate recording via the appropriate menu options.

MD Playback and Recording

  1. Press the MD button to select the MD function.
  2. Insert an MD into the MD slot.
  3. Press PLAY for playback.
  4. To record from CD to MD, select the CD source, then press the CD-MD RECORD button. The system supports high-speed recording (up to 6x).

Radio Operation

  1. Press the TUNER button to select the radio function.
  2. Use the TUNING buttons to select your desired station.
  3. Press PRESET to save or recall favorite stations.

Display and Remote Control
