Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the main unit on a stable, flat surface. Position the speakers equidistant from the main unit for optimal stereo sound. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for ventilation.

2. Speaker Connection

  1. Identify the speaker wires. Each speaker has two wires, typically color-coded (e.g., red for positive, black for negative).
  2. Connect the speaker wires to the corresponding speaker terminals on the rear of the main unit. Ensure positive (+) terminals on the unit connect to positive (+) terminals on the speakers, and negative (-) to negative (-). Incorrect polarity will result in poor sound quality.

3. Antenna Connection

  • FM Antenna: Connect the supplied FM wire antenna to the FM antenna terminal on the rear of the unit. Extend the wire fully for best reception.
  • AM Antenna: Assemble the AM loop antenna as per its instructions and connect it to the AM antenna terminals. Position it away from the main unit for optimal reception.

4. Power Connection

Connect the AC power cord to the AC IN jack on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.

5. Auxiliary Device Connection

To connect an external audio device (e.g., iPod, MP3 player), use a 3.5mm stereo audio cable (not supplied) to connect the device's headphone output or line-out to the "IN LINE OUT" jack on the front panel of the main unit. The system features automatic source detection for this input.
