5. Operating Instructions
- Prepare Coffee Grounds: Open the lid of the coffee maker. Place the reusable filter into the filter basket. Add your desired amount of ground coffee into the reusable filter. A general recommendation is 1-2 tablespoons of coffee grounds per cup, adjusted to personal preference. Do not overfill the filter.
- Add Water: Pour fresh, cold water into the water reservoir. Fill only up to the maximum fill line indicated inside the reservoir. Do not exceed this line to prevent overflow during brewing.
- Position Mug: Place the included travel mug or a suitable single-serve cup directly onto the drip tray beneath the coffee dispenser. Ensure the mug is properly centered.
- Start Brewing: Close the lid securely. Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet. Press the "brew" button located on the front of the unit. The indicator light will illuminate, and the brewing process will begin.
- Brewing Cycle: The coffee maker will brew a single cup of coffee, typically taking approximately 3-4 minutes. The brewing process is automatic and will stop once the water reservoir is empty.
- Serve: Once brewing is complete, carefully remove the mug. The coffee will be hot. Unplug the appliance when not in use.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee maker.
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool. Remove the reusable filter and discard used coffee grounds. Rinse the filter and travel mug thoroughly with warm water. These parts can also be washed with mild dish soap.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the stainless steel finish. Never immerse the coffee maker unit in water or any other liquid.
- Descaling (Monthly or as needed): Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting performance. To descale, fill the water reservoir with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water. Place the reusable filter (empty) and the travel mug in position. Run a brew cycle. After the cycle, let the solution sit in the reservoir for 15-20 minutes. Then, run two full cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse thoroughly.
- Storage: When not in use for an extended period, ensure the coffee maker is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
- Coffee Maker Does Not Turn On:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Check if the outlet is functional by plugging in another appliance.
- Coffee Not Brewing / Slow Brewing:
- Ensure the water reservoir has sufficient water.
- The unit may need descaling if mineral deposits are blocking the water flow. Refer to the "Descaling" section.
- Check that the reusable filter is not clogged with fine coffee grounds. Clean thoroughly.
- Coffee Overflowing from Filter Basket:
- Do not overfill the water reservoir beyond the maximum fill line.
- Do not use too much coffee grounds, or grounds that are too fine, which can impede water flow.
