Setup
- Power Connection: Plug the AC adapter into a standard wall outlet and connect it to the alarm clock's power input.
- Battery Backup Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock. Insert one 9V battery (not included), ensuring correct polarity. This battery provides backup for time and alarm settings during power interruptions.
- Bed Shaker Connection: Plug the bed shaker's cord into the "VIBRATOR" port on the back of the alarm clock. Place the bed shaker under your pillow or mattress for optimal vibration.
- Setting Time: Press and hold the "TIME" button. While holding, press the "HOUR" button to adjust the hour and the "MIN" button to adjust the minutes. Release the "TIME" button when finished. Note the PM indicator for 12-hour format.
Operating Instructions
- Setting the Alarm:
- Press and hold the "AL.SET" button.
- While holding "AL.SET", press the "HOUR" button to set the alarm hour and the "MIN" button to set the alarm minutes.
- Release the "AL.SET" button when the desired alarm time is set.
- Adjusting Alarm Mode: Use the "VIB/BUZZ" switch on the side of the clock to select your preferred alarm mode:
- VIB/BUZZ: Activates both the bed shaker and the audible alarm.
- VIB: Activates only the bed shaker.
- BUZZ: Activates only the audible alarm.
- OFF: Disables the alarm.
- Adjusting Tone and Volume: Use the "TONE" and "VOLUME" control knobs on the back of the clock to customize the audible alarm sound. Turn the "VOLUME" knob to adjust loudness and the "TONE" knob to adjust pitch.
- Using Snooze: When the alarm sounds, press the large "SNOOZE" bar on top of the clock to temporarily silence the alarm. The snooze duration can be set from 1 to 30 minutes.
- Adjusting Display Brightness: Use the "5 LEVEL DIMMER" switch located on the top of the clock to adjust the brightness of the digital display to your preference.
- Changing Time Format (12/24 Hour): Press the "HOUR" button while the time is displayed to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
- Using Test Mode: To test the alarm and bed shaker functions, press and hold the "TEST" button (if available, or refer to specific model instructions for test mode activation).
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the 9V backup battery annually or when the battery low indicator appears to ensure continuous backup functionality.
- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the 9V backup battery to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
