Operating Instructions

Arming the System

To arm the system, enter your 4-digit user code followed by the ARM key. The keypad will display "ARMED" and the exit delay countdown will begin.

Disarming the System

To disarm the system, enter your 4-digit user code. The keypad will display "DISARMED". If an alarm occurred, the keypad will indicate the zone that triggered the alarm.

Bypassing Zones

To bypass a zone (e.g., a window you wish to leave open), enter your user code, then press the BYPASS key, followed by the 2-digit zone number. Press ENTER to confirm. Bypassed zones will not trigger an alarm when the system is armed.

Checking System Status

Press the STATUS key to view the current status of the system, including open zones or system troubles.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliability of your Napco Gemini P816 system.
