- For optimal performance, use the TRE650Z on a dedicated electrical circuit. Avoid using power strips or other power dividing devices, as this can affect the tool's power and performance.
Operating Instructions
1. Adjusting Power
- The tool features a Hi/Lo power dial. Turn the dial to adjust the driving force of the brad nails.
- Use the "Hi" setting for harder materials and longer nails.
- Use the "Lo" setting for softer materials or shorter nails to prevent over-driving.
- Test on a scrap piece of material first to find the appropriate power setting.
2. Firing the Nailer
- Position the Tool: Place the nose of the nailer firmly against the workpiece where you want to drive a nail.
- Apply Pressure: Apply firm, steady pressure to the tool, ensuring the safety contact tip is fully depressed against the surface. This is crucial for proper nail seating and to prevent partial firing.
- Engage Trigger: Squeeze the trigger to fire a brad nail.
- Release and Reposition: Release the trigger and lift the tool from the workpiece. Reposition for the next nail.
Note: The brad-empty indicator will alert you when the magazine is low on fasteners, helping to prevent dry firing and potential damage to the tool or workpiece.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your STANLEY TRE650Z Electric Brad Nailer.
- Cleaning: Keep the tool clean and free of dust and debris. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use solvents.
- Inspect Cord: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, cuts, or fraying. Replace immediately if damaged.
