6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your stapler.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe down the stapler with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your stapler, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Staples not firing or misfiring | Empty magazine; Incorrect staple size/type; Magazine not fully closed; Jammed staples. | Reload staples; Ensure correct staples are used; Push magazine firmly until it clicks; Refer to 'Clearing a Jam'. |
| Staples not fully driven | Insufficient pressure applied; Incorrect power setting; Hard material. | Apply more firm pressure to the stapler; Switch to 'Hi' power setting; Consider pre-drilling for extremely hard materials. |
| Stapler jams frequently | Incorrect staples; Damaged staples; Debris in magazine. | Use only recommended staples; Inspect staples for damage before loading; Clean magazine and staple path. |
Clearing a Jam:
While the TR150HL features an anti-jam mechanism, occasional jams may occur. To clear a jam:
- Unload Staples: Open the staple magazine and remove any remaining staples.
- Inspect: Carefully inspect the staple channel for any bent or stuck staples.
- Remove Obstruction: Use pliers or a small screwdriver to carefully remove the jammed staple. Do not force it.
- Reload: Once clear, reload the magazine with new, undamaged staples.
