Setup

Battery Installation:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the CD player.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover open.
  3. Insert two (2) AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: Always use fresh batteries. Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Connecting Headphones:

Plug the 3.5mm stereo jack of the included headphones into the headphone output jack located on the side of the CD player. Ensure the plug is fully inserted.

Operating Instructions

Loading a CD:

  1. Gently press the OPEN button or slide the latch to open the CD compartment lid.
  2. Place a CD or CD-R/RW disc onto the center spindle with the label side facing up.
  3. Gently press the disc down until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the CD compartment lid firmly until it latches.

Basic Playback:

Programmable Tracks:

The CDP1805 allows you to program a sequence of tracks to play in a specific order.

  1. In STOP mode, press the PROGRAM button. The display will show "P01" and flash.
  2. Use the SKIP FORWARD or SKIP BACKWARD buttons to select the desired first track.
  3. Press PROGRAM again to confirm the track. The display will show "P02".
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more tracks to your program.
  5. Once all desired tracks are programmed, press the PLAY button to start playback of the programmed sequence.
  6. To clear the program, open the CD compartment or press the STOP button twice.
