3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Rice Cooking
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice.
- Wash Rice: Wash the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and ensures optimal texture.
- Add Water: Place the washed rice into the inner cooking pan. Add water up to the corresponding water level mark inside the pan for the type and quantity of rice being cooked.
- Place Inner Pan: Ensure the exterior of the inner pan is dry, then place it into the main unit. Close the outer lid securely.
- Select Menu Setting: Use the 'Menu' button to select the desired cooking setting (e.g., White/Sushi, Mixed, Porridge, Sweet, Semi-Brown, Brown, Rinse-Free, Quick Cooking).
- Start Cooking: Press the 'Start' button. The cooker will play a melody or beep to indicate the start of the cooking cycle.
- Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the unit will automatically switch to 'Keep Warm' mode, indicated by a melody or beep.
3.2 Neuro Fuzzy Logic Technology
The Neuro Fuzzy Logic technology allows the rice cooker to 'think' for itself. It makes fine adjustments to temperature and heating time based on the type of rice and the amount being cooked, ensuring consistently perfect results. This microcomputer-controlled process optimizes pre-soaking, cooking, and steaming phases.

3.3 Special Menu Settings
- Brown Rice: This setting extends preheating for better water absorption and cooks at a lower temperature to ensure thorough cooking without mushiness.
- Sushi Rice: Uses less water (adjusted by water fill lines) for a firmer finish, ideal for sushi preparation.
- Mixed Rice: Extends preheating for better seasoning absorption and cooks at a slightly lower temperature to prevent ingredients from boiling over.
- Porridge: Cooks at a slightly lower temperature for a longer duration to achieve a soft, fluffy texture.
3.4 Keep Warm and Timer Functions
- Automatic Keep Warm: Maintains rice at an optimal serving temperature after cooking.
- Extended Keep Warm: Provides a longer keep-warm period.
- Reheating Cycle: Warms up cooled rice.
- Delay Timer (2 settings): Allows you to set the desired completion time for cooking, with the cooker automatically starting at the appropriate time.

- Detachable Inner Lid: The inner lid is detachable for easy cleaning. Simply pull the tab to remove it and wash with warm, soapy water. It can also be placed in the dishwasher.
- Steam Vent Cap: The steam vent cap on the top lid is removable for cleaning. Detach it and wash it regularly to prevent clogs.
