Operating Instructions
Brewing Coffee
- Fill the coffee maker with cold water to the desired level, indicated by the markings inside the pot. Always use cold water for best results.
- Place the pump tube into the coffee maker, ensuring it sits correctly in the heating element at the bottom.
- Add ground coffee to the coffee basket. Use approximately one level tablespoon of coffee for every cup of water, adjusting to your personal taste. Do not overfill the basket.
- Place the spreader on top of the coffee grounds in the basket.
- Secure the lid onto the coffee maker, ensuring it is properly seated.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The brewing process will begin automatically. The coffee maker will perk until brewing is complete, then automatically switch to a "keep warm" function.
- Once brewing is complete, you can serve the coffee.
- Unplug the coffee maker when serving is complete or when the "keep warm" function is no longer needed.
