• Sweeping Motion: For general trimming, use a wide, sweeping motion, moving the trimmer along the hedge.
• Top Trimming: Hold the trimmer at a slight angle (5-10 degrees) to the top of the hedge to achieve a clean, level cut.
• Side Trimming: Work from the bottom upwards, allowing the cuttings to fall away from the uncut hedge.
• Thick Branches: The trimmer can cut branches up to 25 mm. For thicker branches, make several small cuts rather than forcing the blade through.
• Avoid Overreaching: Always maintain a stable footing. Do not overreach or work from an unstable ladder.
