Setup and Installation

  2. Prepare Mounting Surface: If replacing an existing fixture, carefully remove it. Ensure the electrical box is securely mounted and clean.
  3. Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the provided mounting bracket to the electrical box using the mounting screws. Ensure the bracket is level and stable.
  4. Make Electrical Connections:
    • Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
    • Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the electrical box using a wire nut.
    • Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the electrical box and to the mounting bracket using a ground screw.
    • Carefully tuck all wires into the electrical box.
  5. Mount Fixture: Align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws or nuts. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall and stable.

  7. Install Glass Shade: Carefully place the champagne hammered glass shade into the fixture and secure it according to the fixture's design. Ensure it is seated properly to maintain weather resistance.
  8. Seal Fixture (Optional but Recommended): Apply a bead of outdoor-rated caulk around the top and sides of the fixture's backplate where it meets the wall. Leave the bottom unsealed to allow any condensation to drain.
  9. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box and test the light fixture.
