Controls and Indicators:

Setup

  1. Placement: Choose locations for your intercom units where they are easily accessible and near a standard 120V AC wall outlet. Ensure units are not placed in areas with excessive electrical noise or interference.
  2. Power Connection: Plug the 3-prong AC power cord of each intercom unit into a live wall outlet. The POWER indicator light should illuminate.
  3. Channel Selection: On each unit, use the CHANNEL selector switch to choose one of the three available channels (A, B, or C). For two units to communicate, they must be set to the same channel. For all units to communicate simultaneously, they should all be set to the same channel.
  4. Volume Adjustment: Turn the VOLUME dial to a comfortable listening level.

Note: For optimal performance, especially in larger homes or buildings, it is recommended that all intercom units are plugged into electrical outlets that are on the same electrical phase. If you experience difficulty communicating between units in different parts of your property, this may be a contributing factor. Consult a qualified electrician if you suspect phase differences are affecting performance.

  1. Ensure all desired communicating units are plugged in and set to the same channel (A, B, or C).
  2. To speak, press and hold the TALK button. Speak clearly into the microphone.
  3. To listen, release the TALK button.
