2. Product Features

Note: Always refer to the thinner's instructions for specific mixing ratios. When using lacquer thinner, ensure adequate ventilation and wear appropriate respiratory protection.

3.2. Enhancing Brush Painting

For a smoother, brushstroke-free finish when brush painting, Tamiya Paint Retarder (Part Number: 87114) can be added to the paint.

4. Application Methods

4.1. Brush Painting

Apply the paint directly to the desired surface using a suitable brush. For improved flow and reduced brush marks, consider adding Tamiya Paint Retarder as described in Section 3.2.

4.2. Airbrushing

Ensure the paint is properly thinned according to the guidelines in Section 3.1. Apply in thin, even coats to build up color and achieve a smooth finish. Maintain appropriate air pressure and distance from the model for best results.

5. Cleaning and Care

Clean brushes, airbrushes, and other tools immediately after use. Before the paint cures, it can be easily cleaned with plain water. Once cured, the paint becomes water-resistant and more difficult to remove.

• Ventilation: Use in a well-ventilated area. When using lacquer thinners, always wear a respirator.

• Slow Drying: Ensure proper ventilation. Using Tamiya Lacquer Thinner for airbrushing can accelerate drying times.
