Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the Step2 Naturally Playful Playhouse Climber and Swing Set Extension is required. This process should be undertaken by adults. Follow the provided visual instructions carefully. While the playset includes basic tools, a personal hex nut and ratchet set with a longer extension piece may facilitate easier and more secure assembly.

Assembly Tips:

When attaching the slide, it may be necessary to tip the base of the playset back approximately 30 degrees to allow the slide to slip into place. Ensure the grooves on the slide align with the base.
If attaching the swing set to the playhouse section, do not install the red top piece on the playhouse until the swing set pole is in place, as it may need to be removed later.
Pay close attention to the orientation of the metal swing set pole. The round holes should face UP and the oval holes should face DOWN. Incorrect installation will require partial disassembly.
Securely install all ground anchors to ensure the stability of the swing set.
