Setup and Initial Preparation

1. Handle Assembly:

   Insert the upper handle section into the lower handle section. Ensure the spring-loaded pin on the upper handle engages with the hole in the lower handle for a secure connection. Then, insert the assembled handle into the handle socket on the jack body. Rotate the handle clockwise until it is firmly seated and the release valve is closed.

2. Bleeding the Hydraulic System (Initial Use):

   Before first use, it is recommended to bleed any air from the hydraulic system to ensure proper operation. This process helps remove air bubbles that may have accumulated during shipping.

   • With the jack fully lowered, turn the handle counter-clockwise to open the release valve.
   • Pump the handle rapidly 10-15 times without a load.
   • Turn the handle clockwise to close the release valve.
   • Pump the handle until the saddle reaches its maximum height.
   • Open the release valve to lower the jack completely. Repeat this process 2-3 times if necessary.

Operating Instructions

Always follow the safety guidelines outlined in this manual. Ensure the vehicle is on a hard, level surface, in park/gear, with the parking brake engaged and wheels chocked.

1. Positioning the Jack:

   Locate the manufacturer-recommended lifting points on your vehicle. Position the jack so that the saddle is directly under the lifting point. Ensure the jack is on a stable, level surface.

2. Lifting the Vehicle:

   Turn the handle clockwise until the release valve is fully closed. Pump the handle steadily to raise the saddle until it makes contact with the vehicle's lifting point. Continue pumping to lift the vehicle to the desired height. Lift only high enough to place jack stands.

3. Securing with Jack Stands:

   WARNING: Never work under a vehicle supported only by a floor jack.

   Immediately after lifting, place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's designated support points. Slowly turn the jack handle counter-clockwise to open the release valve and lower the vehicle onto the jack stands. Once the vehicle is securely resting on the jack stands, remove the floor jack.

4. Lowering the Vehicle:

   If the vehicle is on jack stands, first raise the vehicle slightly with the floor jack to remove the jack stands. Once the jack stands are removed and stored safely, ensure the area around and under the vehicle is clear. Slowly turn the jack handle counter-clockwise to open the release valve and lower the vehicle gradually to the ground. Once fully lowered, remove the jack from under the vehicle.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your floor jack.

• Lubrication:

  Periodically lubricate all moving parts, such as pivot points, axles, and casters, with light machine oil. This helps prevent rust and ensures smooth operation.

• Hydraulic Fluid Level:

  With the jack fully lowered and on a level surface, remove the oil filler plug. The fluid level should be just below the filler hole. If low, add high-quality hydraulic jack oil (ISO VG 32 or equivalent) until the correct level is reached. Do not overfill. Replace the filler plug securely.

• Cleaning:

  Keep the jack clean and free of dirt, grease, and corrosive materials. Wipe down the ram and pump mechanism after each use to prevent contamination.

• Inspection:

  Before each use, inspect the jack for any signs of damage, wear, or leaks. Check for bent or cracked components, loose fasteners, or hydraulic fluid leaks. If any damage or leaks are found, do not use the jack and have it repaired by qualified personnel.

• Storage:

  Store the jack in its plastic case in a clean, dry, and protected area with the ram fully retracted (jack fully lowered). This helps prevent corrosion and damage to the hydraulic seals.
