- Wipe the exterior of the coffeemaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling
Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up in your coffeemaker over time, affecting performance and coffee taste. The descaling indicator will alert you when descaling is necessary.
- Prepare Descaling Solution: Mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts water, or use a commercially available descaling solution designed for coffeemakers.
- Run Descaling Cycle: Pour the solution into the water reservoir. Place the empty carafe on the heating plate. Start a brewing cycle.
- Pause and Soak: After about 1/3 of the solution has brewed through, turn off the coffeemaker and let it soak for at least 15 minutes to allow the solution to work.
- Complete Cycle: Turn the coffeemaker back on and allow the remaining solution to brew through.
- Rinse Cycles: After the descaling cycle is complete, run 2-3 full brewing cycles with fresh, cold water only to thoroughly rinse the coffeemaker and remove any residual descaling solution.
