Safety Information

  • Electrical Hazard: Always ensure the power strip is disconnected from the main power source before performing any installation, maintenance, or cleaning.

  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the power strip, cord, and plugs for any signs of wear, cuts, fraying, or other damage. Check the weatherproof cover for cracks or deterioration.
  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, clean it thoroughly and store it in a dry, protected area.

Troubleshooting

  • No Power to Outlets:
    • Check if the power strip's 3-position switch is in the 'ON' position.
    • Verify that the main power outlet is functioning.
    • Check the resettable circuit breaker on the power strip. If it has tripped (button is popped out), disconnect some devices, then press the button to reset.
  • Circuit Breaker Trips Repeatedly:
    • The total wattage of connected devices exceeds the 1800-watt (15 Amp) limit. Reduce the number or power consumption of devices plugged into the strip.
    • A connected device may be faulty and drawing excessive current. Disconnect devices one by one to identify the problematic unit.
