Setup
1. Connecting the Charger to Power
The Hama Delta 2/4 Quick Charger can be powered via a standard wall outlet or a 12V vehicle power socket.
- For Home/Office Use (230V AC): Connect the provided 230V AC power adapter to the charger's input port. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- For Vehicle Use (12V DC): Connect the provided 12V DC car adapter cable to the charger's input port. Insert the other end into your vehicle's 12V power socket (e.g., cigarette lighter socket).
2. Inserting Batteries
The charger supports 2 or 4 Micro (AAA) and Mignon (AA) NiCd/NiMH batteries. Ensure the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity (+ and - terminals) as indicated inside the charging slots.

- Open the battery compartment or slide batteries into the designated slots.
- Match the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries with the corresponding markings on the charger. Incorrect insertion can damage the batteries or charger.
- You can charge 2 or 4 batteries simultaneously. For optimal charging, it is recommended to charge batteries in pairs (2 or 4).
Operating Instructions
1. Charging Process
Once batteries are correctly inserted and the charger is connected to a power source, the charging process will begin automatically.
- Charging Indicator: The charger features indicator lights (e.g., "Charge" LED) that illuminate to show the charging status. Typically, a red light indicates charging in progress.
- Full Charge Indication: When batteries are fully charged, the indicator light will change color (e.g., to green) or turn off, depending on the model. The "Ready" indicator may also light up.
- Automatic Shut-off: The Hama Delta 2/4 Quick Charger is equipped with automatic charge termination (IC Control) to prevent overcharging and extend battery life.
2. Battery Compatibility
This charger is suitable for:
- Micro (AAA) NiCd/NiMH batteries with capacities from 400 mAh and above.
- Mignon (AA) NiCd/NiMH batteries with capacities from 700 mAh and above.
The included Hama NiMH AA 2000 mAh batteries are fully compatible with this charger.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from the power source before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the charger and batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid completely discharging NiMH batteries. It is recommended to recharge them when they are partially depleted.
