Setup Instructions

  1. Placement: Position the subwoofer on the floor, ideally near a wall for optimal bass reflection. Place the satellite speakers on either side of your listening area, ensuring they are equidistant from you for balanced stereo sound.
  2. Connect Satellite Speakers: Connect the cables from the two satellite speakers to the corresponding ports on the back of the subwoofer. Ensure the color-coded cables match the ports.
  3. Connect SoundTouch™ Remote: Plug the wired remote control into the designated port on the subwoofer.
  4. Connect Audio Source:
    • For computers: Connect the 3.5mm audio cable from the SoundTouch™ remote to your computer's audio output jack.
    • For game consoles, DVD players, or CD players: Use the provided audio adapter to connect your device's audio output to the SoundTouch™ remote.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into the subwoofer, then into a standard electrical outlet.
  6. Initial Power On: Turn on the system using the power button on the SoundTouch™ remote.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Use the power button on the SoundTouch™ wired remote to turn the speaker system on or off.
  2. Master Volume Control: Rotate the large dial on the SoundTouch™ remote to adjust the overall volume of the system.
  3. Subwoofer Level Control: Use the dedicated knob on the SoundTouch™ remote to adjust the bass intensity from the subwoofer.
  4. Headphone Jack: For private listening, plug your headphones into the headphone jack located on the SoundTouch™ remote. This will mute the speakers.
  5. Audio Source Volume: Adjust the volume on your connected audio source (computer, game console, etc.) to complement the system's master volume for optimal sound quality.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the speakers and subwoofer. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish.
  • Dust Removal: Regularly dust the speaker grilles and subwoofer cone to prevent accumulation that could affect sound quality.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the subwoofer's vents are not obstructed to prevent overheating.
  • Cable Management: Keep cables organized and free from kinks or excessive tension to prevent damage.
