2. Access the Battery Compartment: Open the front panel or access door of your UPS to expose the battery compartment.

4. Remove Old Battery: Slide the old battery cartridge out of the UPS unit. Be aware that the battery is heavy (approximately 42 pounds or 18-32 kg).
5. Prepare New Battery: Unpack the new APC RBC43 battery cartridge.
6. Insert New Battery: Carefully slide the new RBC43 cartridge into the UPS compartment, ensuring it is fully seated.
7. Connect New Battery: Reconnect the battery cables to the new cartridge, matching the color coding or previous orientation.
