Operating Instructions
Steaming Vegetables:
- Fill the bottom pot with water, ensuring it does not touch the bottom of the steamer insert.
- Place the steamer insert into the bottom pot.
- Arrange your prepared vegetables in the steamer insert. Do not overfill to allow for proper steam circulation.
- Cover with the metal lid.
- Place the steamer on your stovetop (suitable for all types, including induction).
- Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to maintain a steady steam.
- Steam until vegetables reach desired tenderness. Cooking times vary by vegetable type and size.
- Carefully remove the lid, directing steam away from your face. Use oven mitts as handles may become hot.
Using as a General Pot:
The base pot can be used independently for cooking soups, pasta, or other dishes. The high rim is particularly useful for cooking pasta.

Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Allow the steamer to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. For stubborn food residues, soak the pot in warm water before cleaning.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh scouring pads, as these can scratch the polished stainless steel surface.
- The steamer is dishwasher safe.
- Dry thoroughly after washing to prevent water spots and maintain the shine of the stainless steel.
Storage:
Store the steamer in a dry place. Its stackable design helps save space in your kitchen cabinets.
Troubleshooting
- Food not steaming evenly: Ensure the water level in the bottom pot is adequate and not touching the steamer insert. Do not overcrowd the steamer basket, allowing steam to circulate freely.
- Water spots on stainless steel: These are common with hard water. To remove, wipe with a cloth dampened with vinegar or a stainless steel cleaner. Dry immediately.
- Handles getting hot: While designed to stay cooler, handles can become hot during extended cooking or high heat. Always use oven mitts or pot holders when handling hot cookware.
