Setup
1. Install Batteries
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the controller.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

2. Connect the Mini-Receiver
- Locate an available controller port on your PlayStation 2 console.
- Plug the 2.4 GHz mini-receiver directly into the controller port.
- Ensure the receiver is fully inserted. The receiver's status light should illuminate, indicating it is powered on.
3. Establish Connection
The controller and receiver should automatically establish a connection. The status lights on both the controller and receiver will indicate a successful connection. If the connection is not established, ensure both devices are powered on and within range (up to 30 feet).
Operating Instructions
Basic Controls
The controller features a standard PlayStation 2 button layout:
- D-pad: Directional input.
- Left/Right Analog Mini-Sticks: For precise movement and camera control.
- Action Buttons (Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square): For in-game actions.
- Shoulder Buttons (L1, L2, R1, R2): Additional action inputs.

Vibration Feedback

- Ensure the controller has fresh batteries and they are inserted correctly.
- Verify the mini-receiver is securely plugged into the PlayStation 2 console.
- Check if the controller and receiver status lights indicate a connection. If not, try re-establishing the connection by turning the console off and on, or re-inserting the receiver.
- Ensure the controller is within the 30-foot operating range of the receiver.
- Minimize interference from other 2.4 GHz wireless devices (e.g., cordless phones, Wi-Fi routers) by moving them further away or temporarily disabling them during use.
- Vibration not working:
- Check if the Vibration On/Off button has been pressed, disabling the feature.
- Ensure the game you are playing supports vibration feedback.
- Verify battery levels; low batteries can sometimes affect vibration strength.
- Buttons sticking or unresponsive:
- Clean around the buttons with a soft, dry cloth or a cotton swab to remove any debris.
