Setup

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Bean Hopper

  • Remove the bean hopper lid.
  • Pour whole roasted coffee beans into the bean hopper. Do not fill above the "MAX" line. The hopper has an 8-ounce capacity.
  • Replace the bean hopper lid securely.

2. Setting the Fineness

  • Rotate the Fineness Selector Dial to your desired grind setting. The grinder offers 17 positions, ranging from fine to coarse.
  • Fine: Suitable for espresso machines.
  • Medium: Ideal for drip coffee makers.
  • Coarse: Recommended for French press or percolators.

3. Setting the Quantity

  • Rotate the Quantity Selector Dial to select the number of cups you wish to brew (up to 12 cups). This dial controls the grinding duration.

4. Grinding Coffee

  • Ensure the grounds container is correctly inserted and the bean hopper lid is securely closed. The grinder will not operate if these safety interlocks are not engaged.
  • Press the Power Button to start grinding. The grinder will operate until the selected quantity is reached or until the button is pressed again to stop manually.
  • Once grinding is complete, unplug the appliance.
  • Carefully remove the grounds container. Due to static electricity, some ground coffee may cling to the container. Gently tap the container to dislodge grounds before emptying.

  5. Clean Grinding Chamber: Use the cleaning brush to remove any coffee residue from the grinding chamber.
  6. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the motor unit in water.
  7. Reassemble: Once all parts are clean and dry, reassemble the grinder. Ensure the upper burr is securely reinserted by twisting it clockwise until it locks.

Static Reduction Tip:

To reduce static cling in the grounds container, after washing and drying, you may gently wipe the inside of the plastic container with a fabric softener sheet. This can help minimize static for a period.
