Based on these readings, it selects the most suitable operational functions (cooling, fan speed, dehumidification) to achieve optimal comfort and energy efficiency without manual adjustments.
  • Timer Function: Allows you to set a specific time for the unit to turn on or off automatically.
  • Sleep Mode: Optimizes settings for comfortable sleep, often by gradually increasing the temperature and reducing fan speed.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your air conditioner.

6.1 Cleaning the HEPA Filter

The HEPA filter can remove up to 99.9% of particles greater than 0.3 µm, including most allergen particles. A clean filter is vital for air quality and unit performance.

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the filter access panel, usually at the back or side of the unit.
