Setup

Powering the Device

The CX-CD113 can be powered by two (2) AA batteries (not included) or an optional AC/DC adapter (sold separately).

  1. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment located on the underside of the player. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. Close the compartment securely.
  2. AC Power (Optional): Connect a compatible DC 4.5V AC/DC adapter (not included) to the DC 4.5V AC/DC adapter jack on the player. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.

Inserting Interchangeable Color Inserts

To change the appearance of your CD player, gently lift the clear cover on the top of the unit. Place your desired color insert (red, purple, clear, or blue) into the designated slot, ensuring it sits flat. Close the clear cover securely.

Connecting Headphones

Plug the 3.5mm jack of the included stereo headphones into the headphone jack located on the side of the CD player.

Operating Instructions

Loading a CD

  1. Gently press the "OPEN" button or slide the latch to open the CD compartment lid.
  2. Place a CD onto the center spindle with the label side facing up.
  3. Gently press the CD down until it clicks into place.
  4. Close the CD compartment lid firmly until it latches.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Unit

Wipe the exterior of the CD player with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish. For the lens, use a specialized CD lens cleaner if necessary, following its instructions carefully.

Battery Care

Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and corrosion.

CD Care

Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches. Store CDs in their cases when not in use.
