Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the heat control probe, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
- A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- An extension cord may be used if care is exercised in its use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
- Caution: This skillet gets hot. Always place the skillet on a heat-resistant surface. Avoid placing it directly on delicate countertops. Consider using a protective mat or trivet underneath the unit to prevent heat damage. Ensure the surface provides stability to prevent accidental sliding.
Setup and Assembly
- Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the skillet, cover, and heat control probe in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Handle Assembly: Attach the handles to the skillet and the lid using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened. Note: Some users may find handle assembly challenging due to small parts; assistance may be required.
- Attach Heat Control: Insert the Control Master heat control probe into the receptacle on the side of the skillet. Ensure it is fully seated.
- Placement: Place the assembled skillet on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter.

Operating Instructions
- Preheating: Plug the heat control into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Turn the Control Master dial to the desired temperature setting. Allow the skillet to preheat for 5-10 minutes, or until the indicator light turns off, signaling the set temperature has been reached.
- Cooking:
- Add food to the preheated skillet. The ceramic nonstick surface ensures stick-free cooking.
- The Control Master heat control automatically maintains the selected cooking temperature, providing consistent results for roasting, frying, grilling, stewing, baking, and one-dish meals.
- Utilize the high-sidewall pan and high-dome EverNu cover for greater food capacity and to retain moisture and heat during cooking. The EverNu cover is designed to resist denting, warping, peeling, or bending.
- The stay-cool handle allows for safe handling during operation.
- Adjusting Temperature: Adjust the Control Master dial as needed during cooking.
- Finishing: Once cooking is complete, turn the Control Master dial to "OFF" and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.

Figure 3: The skillet's high-sidewall design accommodates larger items like a ham, ideal for family meals.

Figure 4: The nonstick surface allows for easy cooking and flipping of delicate foods like eggs.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Cool Down: Always allow the skillet to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove Heat Control: Detach the Control Master heat control probe from the skillet before washing. The heat control probe is not immersible.
- Washing: The skillet is fully immersible for easy cleaning. Wash the skillet and cover in warm, soapy water. A soft cloth or sponge is recommended to protect the nonstick surface. For stubborn food residue, soak the skillet in warm water before cleaning.
- Nonstick Surface Care: The PFAS-free nonstick surface is designed for durability. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, metal scouring pads, or sharp utensils that could scratch the surface.
- Drying and Storage: Rinse all parts thoroughly and dry completely before storing. Store the skillet with the heat control removed.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Skillet does not heat up. | Not plugged in; heat control not properly inserted; power outlet issue. | Ensure the unit is securely plugged into a working 120V AC outlet. Verify the heat control probe is fully inserted into the skillet's receptacle. Check the circuit breaker. |
| Food sticks to the surface. | Insufficient oil/fat; surface damage; improper preheating. | Use a small amount of cooking oil or fat. Ensure the skillet is properly preheated before adding food. Avoid using metal utensils that can scratch the nonstick coating. |
| Skillet slides on countertop. | Smooth countertop surface; lack of grip on skillet feet. | Always place the skillet on a stable, non-slip, heat-resistant surface. A silicone mat or damp cloth (ensuring it doesn't cover ventilation) can provide additional grip. |
| Uneven heating. | Heat control not properly calibrated or faulty. | Ensure the heat control is fully inserted. If issues persist, contact customer support. |
