Setup
1. Power Connection
The Sharp QS-2770H calculator is AC-powered. Connect the provided AC adapter to the power input port on the back of the calculator and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
2. Paper Roll Installation
- Lift the paper roll arm located at the top rear of the calculator.
- Place a new paper roll (standard 2-1/4 inch width) onto the paper roll holder, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom of the roll.
- Feed the leading edge of the paper into the printer slot until it emerges from the front of the printer mechanism.
- Lower the paper roll arm back into position.

3. Ink Ribbon Installation/Replacement
The calculator uses a two-color ink ribbon (Victor ink ribbon 7010 or equivalent). To install or replace:
- Ensure the calculator is turned off.
- Gently open the printer cover.
- Remove the old ribbon cartridge if present.
- Insert the new ribbon cartridge, ensuring the ribbon is properly threaded through the guides and positioned correctly over the print head. Refer to the diagram on the ribbon cartridge for correct orientation.
- Close the printer cover securely.
4. Initial Settings
Before first use, or after a power interruption, you may need to set the date, decimal point, and rounding settings. Consult the specific key functions on your calculator's keyboard for these adjustments (e.g., DATE key, decimal selector switch).

Basic Operations
- Addition/Subtraction: Enter numbers and press + or -.
- Multiplication/Division: Enter numbers and press x or ÷. Press = to display the result.
- Clear Entry (CE): Clears the last entered number.
- Clear All (C/AC): Clears all entries and calculations.
Advanced Functions
- Grand Total (GT): Accumulates results of all calculations. Press GT to display the grand total.
- Markup (MU): Used for cost-sell-margin calculations.
- Percent Changes (%): Calculates percentage increases or decreases.

Cleaning

Ribbon and Paper Roll Replacement
