Setup

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. The food mill consists of the main bowl, a rotating arm with a handle, and interchangeable perforated discs.
  2. Select Disc: Choose the appropriate perforated disc (2.0 mm or 3.0 mm) based on the desired consistency of your food. The 2.0 mm disc is suitable for fibrous foods like asparagus or leeks, and for processing with peels. The 3.0 mm disc is ideal for applesauce, jam, baby food, and fine mashed potatoes.
  3. Insert Disc: Place the selected disc into the bottom of the food mill bowl. Ensure it sits flat and securely.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Food: Cook or soften the fruits or vegetables you intend to process. For best results, ensure they are tender.
  2. Load Food: Place the prepared food into the food mill bowl. Do not overfill; process in batches if necessary.
