Product Overview
Front Panel
The front panel of the Technics ST-GT 350 features controls for power, band selection, memory functions, and tuning. The large display provides information on the selected station frequency and signal strength.

Rear Panel

Setup Guide
1. Connecting Antennas
- FM Antenna: Connect the supplied FM indoor antenna to the 75Ω FM ANT terminal. For better reception, connect an outdoor FM antenna.
- AM Antenna: Connect the supplied AM loop antenna to the AM ANT terminals. Position the loop antenna away from the main unit and other audio components to minimize interference.
2. Connecting to an Amplifier/Receiver
Use the supplied audio connection cables (RCA type) to connect the AUDIO OUT (L and R) terminals on the ST-GT 350 to the corresponding audio input terminals (e.g., "TUNER" or "AUX") on your amplifier or receiver.
3. Power Connection
After all other connections are made, plug the AC power cord into the AC INlet on the rear panel of the tuner, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press the POWER STANDBY/ON button on the front panel to turn the unit on or off.
2. Selecting a Band (FM/MW)
Press the BAND button to switch between FM and MW (AM) bands.
3. Tuning to a Station
Manual Tuning:
Press the MODE button until "MANUAL" appears on the display. Rotate the TUNING knob to manually adjust the frequency.
Automatic Tuning:
Press the MODE button until "AUTO" appears on the display. Press the TUNING knob (or the up/down arrows next to it, if present) to automatically scan for the next available station.
4. Presetting Stations (Memory)
The ST-GT 350 allows you to store up to 30 FM/MW stations in memory.
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press the MEMORY button. The preset number will flash on the display.
- Within a few seconds, press one of the numbered preset buttons (1-10, or use the up/down arrows to select a higher number) to store the station.
5. Recalling Preset Stations
Press the desired numbered preset button (1-10) to instantly recall a stored station. For presets 11-30, you may need to press a "SHIFT" or "10+" button followed by the number, or use the up/down arrows to navigate through the memory banks.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
To clean the exterior of the unit, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, dampen the cloth slightly with water or a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Never use strong solvents such as alcohol, paint thinner, or benzene, as these can damage the finish.
Storage
If you plan not to use the unit for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
