Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the snow cone maker and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage if desired.
- Clean: Before first use, wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Wash any removable parts (if applicable) with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Do not immerse the main unit or power cord in water.
- Placement: Place the snow cone maker on a stable, flat, and dry surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
- Power Connection: Ensure the unit is unplugged before proceeding with any setup.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to make delicious snow cones:
- Prepare Ice: Use standard ice cubes from your freezer. No special freezing molds are required.
- Place Serving Cup: Position a snow cone cup or bowl directly under the ice shaving chute (refer to Figure 3).
- Add Ice: Open the top lid of the snow cone maker. Carefully place ice cubes into the ice chamber. Do not overfill. Close the lid securely.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Shave Ice: Press down firmly on the "PUSH" button located on the top of the unit (refer to Figure 2). Hold the button down to activate the shaving blade. The ice will be shaved and dispensed into the cup below.
- Release Button: Release the "PUSH" button to stop the shaving process.
- Repeat: Continue adding ice and pressing the button until you have the desired amount of shaved ice.
- Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the outlet immediately after use.
- Add Syrup: Pour your favorite snow cone syrup over the shaved ice and enjoy.
Note: For best results, use ice cubes that are not frozen together in a large clump. If the unit struggles, slightly reduce the amount of ice in the chamber.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your snow cone maker.
- Unplug: Always ensure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning (refer to Figure 4).
- Empty Ice Chamber: Remove any remaining ice from the ice chamber.
- Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Clean Ice Chute: Carefully clean the ice shaving chute area. Be extremely cautious of the sharp blade. A small brush or damp cloth can be used.
- Dry Thoroughly: Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing the appliance.
- Storage: Store the snow cone maker in a cool, dry place.
Caution: The blade inside the unit is sharp. Exercise extreme care when cleaning the ice chamber and chute to avoid injury.
