Setup
1. Fueling the Lantern
- Ensure the lantern is cool and the fuel valve is in the OFF position.
- Unscrew the fuel cap slowly to release any pressure.
- Using the provided filtering funnel, carefully pour Coleman Liquid Fuel or unleaded gasoline into the tank. Do not fill past the fill line.
- Securely replace the fuel cap.

2. Installing Mantles
- Remove the ventilator and glass globe.
- Tie the mantles securely onto the burner caps. Ensure they are centered and not touching each other or the generator.
- Carefully burn off the mantles with a match until they turn white ash. Allow to cool.
- Replace the glass globe and ventilator.
3. Pressurizing the Tank
Turn the pump knob counter-clockwise one full turn. Place your thumb over the hole in the pump knob and pump approximately 30-40 times until resistance is felt. Turn the pump knob clockwise to lock it.

Operating Instructions
1. Lighting the Lantern
- Ensure the tank is pressurized (refer to Setup section).
- Turn the fuel valve knob counter-clockwise one full turn.
- Immediately hold a lit match near the mantles until they ignite. The mantles will flare up initially, then settle into a bright glow.
- If the mantles do not light, turn the valve off, repressurize, and try again.

Rotate the fuel valve knob to adjust the light output. Turn clockwise for dimmer light and counter-clockwise for brighter light.
3. Turning Off the Lantern
Turn the fuel valve knob fully clockwise to the OFF position. The light will dim and extinguish. Allow the lantern to cool completely before moving or storing.
