3. Remove the opposite steel side panel by unscrewing the two thumb screws at the rear and sliding it backward.

2. Motherboard Installation

1. Install the I/O shield that came with your motherboard into the opening at the rear of the case.
2. Align the motherboard with the pre-installed standoffs. Additional standoffs may be required depending on your motherboard form factor (ATX, M-ATX, ITX). Install any necessary standoffs from the accessory box.
3. Carefully place the motherboard onto the standoffs and secure it with the provided screws.

3. Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation

1. The PSU mounts at the bottom rear of the case.
2. Slide the PSU into its designated bay from the rear of the case.
3. Secure the PSU with screws from the outside of the case.

4. Storage Drive Installation

The NX420 supports various drive configurations:

• 3.5" HDD / 2.5" SSD (Convertible): 2 bays
• 2.5" SSDs: 4 dedicated mounts

1. Locate the drive cages and mounting points behind the motherboard tray or at the bottom of the case.
2. For 3.5" HDDs, slide the drive into the cage and secure it with screws.
3. For 2.5" SSDs, mount them directly onto the designated trays or screw points.

5. Graphics Card (GPU) Installation

1. Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers at the rear of the case.
2. Insert the graphics card into the appropriate PCIe slot on the motherboard.
3. Secure the graphics card to the case with screws.

6. Fan and Radiator Installation

The NX420 offers extensive cooling options:

• Front: Supports 3 x 120mm fans or 2 x 140mm fans, or a 360mm radiator.
• Top: Supports 2 x 120mm fans or 2 x 140mm fans, or a 240mm radiator.
• Rear: Supports 1 x 120mm fan or 1 x 140mm fan. (One 120mm fan is pre-installed).

1. Mount additional fans or radiators to the desired locations using the appropriate screws.
2. Ensure fans are oriented correctly for optimal airflow (intake or exhaust).

7. Cable Management

1. Connect all power cables from the PSU to the motherboard, GPU, and storage drives.
2. Connect the front I/O cables (USB, audio, power/reset/LED switches) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for header locations.
3. Utilize the cable routing cutouts and tie-down points behind the motherboard tray to organize cables. This improves airflow and aesthetics.

8. Reassemble the Case

1. Once all components are installed and cables are managed, reattach the steel side panel by sliding it forward and securing it with thumb screws.
2. Carefully reattach the tempered glass side panel and secure it with its four thumb screws.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

• To power on your system, press the Power button on the front I/O panel.
• To power off, use the shutdown option in your operating system. Alternatively, press and hold the Power button for several seconds for a forced shutdown.
• The Reset button can be used to restart your system.

ARGB Lighting Control

The front panel features an integrated ARGB lighting strip. You can control its effects using the dedicated LED button on the front I/O panel.

• Press the LED button repeatedly to cycle through various pre-programmed lighting modes and colors.
