Introduction
The Monopoly Nostalgia Series Edition is a special version of the classic board game, designed to evoke the original experience from 1935. This edition features vintage-look playing pieces, wooden houses and hotels, and "aged" Monopoly money, all housed within a wood collector box.
Components
The Monopoly Nostalgia Series Edition includes the following:
- Full-size game board with vintage 1957 edition artwork.
- Vintage-style playing pieces (metal tokens).
- Wooden houses and hotels.
- "Aged" Monopoly money.
- Chance and Community Chest cards with vintage designs.
- Title Deed cards.
- Two dice.
- Wood collector box with a built-in banker's tray.

The game board and components are designed to replicate the aesthetic of the 1957 edition, offering a classic play experience.
Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all game components from the wood collector box.
- Assemble Game Board: Unfold the game board and place it on a flat playing surface.
- Place Cards: Shuffle the Chance cards and Community Chest cards separately and place them face down on their designated spaces on the game board. Place the Title Deed cards next to their corresponding properties.
- Banker Setup: Select one player to be the Banker. The Banker is responsible for the bank's money, houses, hotels, and Title Deeds. The Banker distributes $1500 to each player in the following denominations: two $500s, four $100s, one $50, one $20, two $10s, one $5, and five $1s.
- Player Setup: Each player chooses a unique vintage-look playing piece and places it on the "GO" space.
- Determine Play Order: Each player rolls both dice. The player with the highest total starts the game, and play proceeds clockwise.

Operating Instructions
The objective of Monopoly is to be the last player remaining with money, by bankrupting opponents through property acquisition and development.
Gameplay Overview
- Players take turns rolling two dice and moving their playing piece clockwise around the board.
- Landing on an unowned property allows the player to purchase it. If they choose not to, the property is auctioned to the highest bidder.
- Landing on an owned property requires paying rent to the owner.
- Properties can be developed with houses and hotels to increase rent.
- Special spaces like Chance, Community Chest, Income Tax, and Luxury Tax require specific actions or payments.
- Players can mortgage properties for cash or trade properties with other players.
- The game ends when only one player remains solvent.
Key Rules
- Rolling Doubles: If a player rolls doubles, they move their piece, take their turn, and then roll again. Three consecutive doubles result in going to Jail.
- Passing GO: Each time a player passes or lands on "GO", they collect $200 from the Bank.
- Jail: Players can get out of Jail by rolling doubles, paying a fine, or using a "Get Out of Jail Free" card.
- Building: Houses and hotels can only be built on properties within a complete color-group. Buildings must be erected evenly across properties in a group.
- Bankruptcy: A player is bankrupt if they owe more money than they can raise by selling buildings and mortgaging properties.

For detailed rules and specific scenarios, refer to the official rulebook included with your game.
Maintenance and Care
- Storage: Store all game components neatly in the provided wood collector box to prevent loss or damage. Ensure the box is kept in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
- Cleaning: Wipe the game board and plastic components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Handling: Handle wooden houses and hotels with care to prevent chipping or breakage.
Troubleshooting
- Missing Pieces: In case of missing components, check all packaging thoroughly. If still missing, contact customer support.
- Damaged Components: If any game components are damaged upon arrival, contact the retailer or manufacturer for assistance.
- Game Duration: Monopoly games can vary in length. To shorten gameplay, consider house rules such as setting a time limit or ending the game after a certain number of rounds.
