1. Overview
The Belkin MasterCube F9H120-CW is a single-outlet, wall-mount surge protector designed to safeguard your electronic devices from power surges and spikes. 2. Setup and Installation
Wall-Mount Installation
- Ensure the wall outlet is properly grounded.
- Align the prongs of the MasterCube surge protector with the wall outlet.
- Firmly push the surge protector into the wall outlet until it is securely seated.
- Verify that the 'Protected' LED indicator illuminates green, and the 'Not Grounded' LED (if present) is off.

Connecting Devices
- Plug your electronic device's power cord into the single AC outlet on the front of the MasterCube.
- For phone line protection, connect your phone, fax, or modem line to the RJ11 input jack. Use the built-in phone line splitter to connect two devices if needed.
3. Operation
LED Indicators
- Protected LED (Green): When illuminated, this LED indicates that the surge protection is active and your connected equipment is protected. If this light is off, the surge protector may have absorbed a surge and needs to be replaced.
- Grounded LED (Red/Orange, if present): This LED indicates that the wall outlet is properly grounded. If this light is off or red/orange, the outlet may not be properly grounded, and you should consult a qualified electrician.

5. Maintenance and Care
- Keep the surge protector in a dry location, away from moisture and direct sunlight.

- If the 'Protected' LED is off, replace the unit to ensure continued protection.
6. Troubleshooting
- 'Protected' LED is off: This indicates that the surge protector has absorbed a power surge and can no longer provide protection. The unit should be replaced immediately.
- 'Not Grounded' LED is on (if applicable): This indicates that the wall outlet is not properly grounded. Consult a qualified electrician to inspect and correct the wiring of your electrical outlet.
- No power to connected device: Ensure the surge protector is firmly plugged into a working wall outlet. Check the device's power cord and ensure it is properly connected to the surge protector.
