4. Installation and Setup
4.1 Window Preparation
The fan is designed to fit most double-hung and slider windows. Ensure your window opening is clean and clear of obstructions.
4.2 Installing in Double-Hung Windows
- Open the window to the desired height.
- Place the fan unit into the window opening.
- Extend the adjustable extender screen and/or the bonus extender panel until the fan is securely fitted and sealed against the window frame. The fan can extend up to 37 inches with extenders.
- Lower the window sash until it rests firmly on top of the fan unit.
4.3 Installing in Slider Windows
- Open the window to the desired width.
- Set the fan vertically in your window opening with the left side of the fan situated on the bottom and the built-in extender panel on top.
- Extend the adjustable extender screen and/or the bonus extender panel until the fan is securely fitted and sealed against the window frame.
- Close the sliding window sash until it rests firmly against the side of the fan unit.

5.2 Power On/Off

- Air Exchange: One fan operates on intake while the other operates on exhaust, facilitating full room circulation.
Use the individual 'Intake/Exhaust' switches located below each fan on the unit to select the desired direction for each blade.
