Setup and First Use

Unpacking and Placement

  • Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  • Place the oven on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance (at least 4 inches) on all sides and above the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place the oven directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  • Ensure the power cord is not pinched or draped over sharp edges.

Initial Cleaning

  • Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior of the oven with a damp cloth.
  • Wash the baking pan and broil insert in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before plugging in the oven.

First Use Operation (Burn-Off)

  • It is normal for a new appliance to emit a slight odor or smoke during its first use. This is due to the burning off of manufacturing residues.
  • To minimize this, operate the oven empty for approximately 15-20 minutes at the highest temperature setting (450°F) in a well-ventilated area.
  • After this initial burn-off, allow the oven to cool completely before using it for cooking.
