4. Setup and Assembly

The Hama CD Rack requires assembly. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Identify Components: Lay out all plastic pieces. You should have a top panel, a bottom panel, two side panels, and the internal CD dividers. The top and bottom panels may be marked "TOP" and "BOTTOM" respectively.
2. Attach Side Panels to Bottom: Carefully align the tabs on one side panel with the slots on the bottom panel. Gently push them together until they click into place. Repeat for the second side panel. Ensure the side panels are oriented correctly, with any connection points for expansion facing outwards.
3. Insert CD Dividers: Slide the internal CD divider sections into the grooves on the bottom panel. These should fit snugly to create the individual CD slots.
4. Attach Top Panel: Align the tabs on the top panel with the corresponding slots on the side panels and the top of the CD dividers. Press firmly until all connections are secure. Ensure the "TOP" marking (if present) is facing upwards.
5. Verify Stability: Once assembled, gently test the rack for stability. All connections should be firm.

4.1. Expanding Your CD Storage

1. Horizontal Connection: To connect units horizontally, align the connection points on the side of one assembled rack with the corresponding points on another rack. Gently push them together until they interlock.
2. Vertical Stacking: To stack units vertically, place one assembled rack directly on top of another. Ensure the bottom unit is stable and the top unit is securely seated. Some models may have small pegs or indentations for secure stacking.

5. Operating Instructions

• Inserting CDs: Gently slide a cased CD into an empty slot. The plastic dividers are designed to hold the CD cases securely.
