Setup and Assembly

  1. Before First Use: Wipe the mixer stand with a damp cloth. Wash the stainless steel bowl, flat beater, wire whip, dough hook, and pouring shield in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
  2. Placing the Bowl:
    • Ensure the mixer is unplugged and the speed control is set to 'Off/0'.
    • Lift the motor head by pushing the tilt-head lock lever to the 'Unlock' position and tilting the head back.
    • Place the mixing bowl onto the clamping plate, turning it clockwise until it locks firmly into place.
  3. Attaching an Accessory:
    • With the motor head tilted back, slide the desired accessory (flat beater, wire whip, or dough hook) onto the beater shaft.
    • Rotate the accessory until it hooks over the pin on the shaft.
  4. Lowering the Motor Head:
    • Lower the motor head by pushing the tilt-head lock lever to the 'Unlock' position and gently lowering the head until it clicks into place.
    • Ensure the tilt-head lock lever is in the 'Lock' position before operating.
  5. Attaching the Pouring Shield:
    • After attaching the accessory and lowering the head, slide the pouring shield around the bowl. The wide part of the shield should be positioned to the right of the mixer.

    • Loosen the attachment hub knob by turning it counter-clockwise.
    • Remove the attachment hub cover.
    • Insert the attachment shaft into the hub, ensuring the power shaft of the attachment fits into the square hub socket.
    • Tighten the attachment hub knob clockwise until the attachment is completely secured.
