Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or shipping.
- Wash: Before first use, wash the interior of the fryer and the lift-and-drain scoop with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The exterior can be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the deep fryer on a clean, dry, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure it is away from the edge of the counter and out of reach of children.
- Add Oil: Pour cooking oil into the fryer. The FryDaddy requires approximately 4 cups of oil. Do not overfill or underfill.
- Connect Power Cord: Attach the magnetic power cord to the fryer. Ensure it is securely connected.
Operating Instructions
- Preheat: Plug the power cord into a 120V AC wall outlet. The fryer will automatically begin heating to the ideal frying temperature. This typically takes about 10-15 minutes.
- Add Food: Once the oil is heated, carefully place food into the lift-and-drain scoop. Slowly lower the scoop with the food into the hot oil. Do not overload the fryer.
- Fry: Allow the food to fry until it reaches the desired crispness and color. The automatic temperature control maintains optimal frying conditions.
- Remove Food: Use the lift-and-drain scoop to carefully lift the food out of the oil. Allow excess oil to drain back into the fryer.
- Serve: Transfer the fried food to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any remaining oil, then serve immediately.
- Repeat: For additional batches, allow the oil to reheat for a few minutes before adding more food.
- Store Oil (Optional): After frying, unplug the fryer and allow the oil to cool completely. Once cool, you may strain the oil through a fine-mesh sieve to remove food particles. Place the snap-on lid securely on the fryer for storage.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your FryDaddy deep fryer.
- Cool Down: Always unplug the fryer and allow the oil to cool completely before cleaning. Hot oil can cause severe burns.
- Remove Oil: If storing oil, carefully pour it into a separate container after straining.
- Clean Interior: The PFAS-free ceramic nonstick surface inside the fryer is easy to clean. Wash with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Rinse thoroughly.
- Clean Scoop and Lid: The lift-and-drain scoop and snap-on lid can be washed with warm, soapy water.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the fryer with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the entire fryer unit in water.
- Dry: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
Troubleshooting
- Fryer not heating: Ensure the magnetic power cord is securely attached to the fryer and properly plugged into a functioning 120V AC outlet. Check if the outlet has power.
- Food not crisping: Ensure the oil has reached the proper temperature before adding food. Avoid overloading the fryer, as this can lower oil temperature. Ensure food is dry before frying.
- Excessive smoking: This may indicate old or dirty oil, or the oil temperature is too high. Replace old oil, clean the fryer, and ensure proper ventilation.
- Oil spills: Do not overfill the fryer with oil. Always use caution when moving the fryer, especially when it contains hot oil. The magnetic cord is designed to detach easily to prevent tipping.
