3. Tilt the motor head back by pushing the lock lever to the "Unlock" position and gently lifting the head.
4. Place the 4.5-quart stainless steel bowl onto the clamping plate, aligning the bowl pins with the notches in the plate. Twist the bowl clockwise until it locks securely.
5. Attach the desired accessory (flat beater, dough hook, or wire whip) by sliding it onto the attachment shaft and pushing it up as far as it will go. Then, turn the accessory counter-clockwise until it hooks onto the pin on the shaft.
6. Lower the motor head by pushing the lock lever to the "Unlock" position and gently lowering the head until it clicks into the "Lock" position.
7. Plug the mixer into a grounded 115V AC, 60 Hz, 3-wire cord, 3-prong plug outlet.
