Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the Bowl: Position the removable measuring bowl securely onto the scale platform.
- Initial Calibration: Before first use, or if the scale is not reading zero, locate the calibrating wheel (typically on the back or bottom of the scale base). Turn the wheel until the indicator needle aligns with the '0' mark on both the ounce and gram scales.

Operating Instructions
- Ensure Calibration: Verify that the scale is calibrated to zero before placing any items on it. Adjust the calibrating wheel if necessary.
- Place Item: Gently place the food item or ingredients into the measuring bowl.
- Read Measurement: Observe the indicator needle on the display. The scale provides measurements in both ounces (oz) and grams (g). Read the value corresponding to the unit you require. The scale reads in 10-gram increments.
- Pour Spout: The measuring bowl features a pour spout for easy transfer of liquid or granular ingredients.

Maintenance and Cleaning
- Measuring Bowl: The modular plastic measuring bowl is dishwasher safe (top rack only). For best results, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
- Scale Base: Wipe the scale base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or use abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the scale in a dry place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the scale is on a level surface and recalibrate to zero using the calibrating wheel.
- Wobbly Bowl: Ensure the measuring bowl is properly seated on the scale platform. If it remains wobbly, check for any debris underneath or damage to the bowl or platform.
