5. Operation
The Rain Bird DASASVF075 valve can be operated automatically via an irrigation controller or manually.
Automatic Operation:
When connected to a 24 VAC irrigation controller, the valve will open and close according to the programmed schedule. The controller sends an electrical signal to the solenoid, which then actuates the valve.
Manual Operation:
To manually open the valve, slowly turn the solenoid 90 degrees counter-clockwise (approximately a quarter turn). You should hear water rushing through the valve. To close the valve, turn the solenoid clockwise until it is hand-tight. Water flow will stop after a few moments.

Flow Control Adjustment:
