Introduction
Welcome to the world of Castlevania Bloodlines for the Sega Genesis. This manual provides essential information for setting up, playing, and maintaining your game. Prepare to embark on a perilous journey to defeat the forces of evil.
In 1917, two descendants of the Belmont lineage are called upon to confront the most malevolent incarnation of the Castlevania legacy: the vampiric Countess Bartley. As John Morris, the whip-wielding vampire hunter, or Eric Lecarde, the master lancer, you will pursue the Countess across Europe to prevent her from resurrecting Dracula. Your path is fraught with zombies, hideous mutants, grotesque giants, ghouls, and ghastly creatures. Navigate through Drac's possessed castle ruins, the haunted Leaning Tower of Pisa, the sunken Shrine of Atlantis in Greece, and the Palace of Versailles. Encounter head-dropping horrors like Mecha-man, skele-dragons, and spear-thrusting minotaurs. Utilize sacred weapon power-ups such as Holy Water, the Battle Axe, the Crystal Blade Boomerang, and the Mirror of Truth to survive.
