6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.

  • Dust Bag Replacement:

The Eureka 3670G is a bagged canister vacuum. The dust bag and motor filter are crucial for the cleaner's efficiency. If the bag or filter becomes clogged, airflow will be reduced, impacting cleaning performance. Change the dust bag frequently to maintain maximum efficiency.

Figure 6: A hand demonstrating the replacement of the high-filtration, messy-free dust bag in the Eureka Mighty Mite vacuum. This image highlights the ease of removing and replacing the dust bag, ensuring hygienic disposal of collected debris.

    To replace the dust bag:

    1. Unplug the electrical cord from the outlet.
    2. Open the dust bag compartment.
    3. Carefully remove the full dust bag.
    4. Insert a new triple filtration dust bag, ensuring it is properly seated.
    5. Close the dust bag compartment securely.

Note: Fine particles (e.g., carpet fresheners, powder, plaster dust) can restrict airflow quickly. In such cases, the bag and filter may need more frequent changing, even if the bag does not appear full.

  • Filter Cleaning: Clean the motor filter as needed. Refer to the specific instructions on the filter or within the vacuum's compartment for cleaning or replacement guidelines.
  • Cord Storage: Wrap the 20-foot power cord neatly around the cord wraps on the vacuum unit for compact and convenient storage.
