Setup

1. Battery Installation

The camera requires a rechargeable battery for operation.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover, typically on the bottom or side of the camera.

  3. Insert the battery according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Loading Film

  4. Ensure the film perforations engage with the sprockets.
  5. Close the camera back cover. The camera will automatically advance the film to the first frame.

3. Setting the Quartz Date (QD Models Only)

For models with the Quartz Date function, you can set the date and time to be imprinted on your photos.

  1. Locate the QD display and control buttons on the camera back (refer to Figure 2).
  2. Use the SELECT button to cycle through date/time display modes (Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute).
  3. Use the ADJUST button to change the selected value.
  4. Once set, the date will be imprinted on your photos.

Operating the Camera

1. Power On/Off

To turn the camera on, slide the power switch or press the power button. To turn it off, repeat the action.

2. Taking a Picture

  1. Look through the viewfinder to frame your shot.
  2. Gently press the shutter button halfway down to activate the autofocus system. The focus indicator in the viewfinder will confirm focus.
  3. Press the shutter button fully down to take the picture.

3. Using the Zoom

  4. Close the camera back cover.
